Guests were delighted to meet or renew acquaintance with ALLEN VIZZUTTI and LAURA VINCENT VIZZUTTI. Lunch was tasty but the best dessert was their performance of three charming songs of Manuel deFalla, Somewhere Over the Rainbow on flugelhorn (reprising the memorable encore they performed during their last appearance with the Symphony several years ago) and the impossibly technical Vizzutti version of the cornet classic, Carnival of Venice. |
